Connect Claude to Your Family Gatherings
Bring a helpful assistant directly into your reunion schedule, meals, and tasks. Ask Claude to plan menus, write emails, and check schedules in real time.
What is a Connector (MCP)?
Normally, artificial intelligence assistants like Claude don't know anything about your plans. If you wanted help organizing, you'd have to copy and paste your entire schedule, guest list, and signup sheet into the chat.
By enabling a connection via Model Context Protocol (MCP), you give Claude secure, read-and-write access to your event workspace. You can then ask questions or make changes directly through your conversations with Claude, just like talking to a co-planner.
How to Connect
Follow these simple steps to hook your event space up with Claude Desktop or Claude.ai.
Open Settings
Open your Claude Desktop app or go to Claude.ai, then navigate to Settings.
Add Custom Connector
Look for the Connectors or MCP tab and select Add custom connector.
Enter the Connector URL
Paste the secure connector URL (below) and click connect.
Approve & Connect
A browser tab will open asking you to sign in to AlltogetherHQ. Review the permissions and click Approve.

“Which meals for our lake weekend don't have a host yet? Suggest a kid-friendly recipe for Saturday lunch that feeds 15.”
Claude scans the meal signups, identifies open slots, and proposes a complete recipe with quantities matched to your family size.
“Check who is signed up to bring supplies for Saturday breakfast. Write a warm email to the family asking for volunteers for the remaining items.”
Drafts a personalized, friendly email referencing exact missing items, saving you time coordinating in the family group chat.

Claude checks Saturday's timeline and directly schedules the new activity for everyone, assigning you as the host.
Your Data Remains Yours
Connecting Claude is secure. Claude can only access the specific events you grant permission for, and only when you're actively chatting with it. No background listening, no ads, and you can revoke the connection at any time in your profile settings.
